Leinster Quality Products is a family-run business based in County Laois. Following on from his success as director of Leinster Woodcraft, Martin Gilligan, has set his sights on establishing a new and exciting business venture, ‘Leinster Quality Products’. Martin first opened his woodcraft showroom in Laois in the early 1990’s offering a range of quality wood kitchens in both contemporary and modern design. Martin’s craftsmanship, dedication and customer relations were always top priority as is evident in the work and customer satisfaction to date. Leinster Woodcraft continues to go from strength to strength as a result of Martin’s son Ian, who has introduced modern products and manufacturing methods such as CNC machinery, which means that manufacturing custom made products are not a problem for potential customers who need this service.

In 2013 Martin was unfortunate to become a paraplegic and was no longer able to take part in the manufacturing side, which he was very passionate about. Martin very much recognizes and appreciates his son Ian’s ability and dedication to growing the business as it is very much a family run business. In 2015 while Martin was in hospital, he recognized that he had no choice but to establish a new business that would not require manual work. Martin acknowledged his limitations physically and following an extensive period of recovery, took the necessary time to re-adjust and re-assess his situation. Never one to give up, Martin courageously rose to the challenge and discovered his motivation and desire to succeed were as strong as ever. Martin can no longer walk the familiar path of his former years, yet he is determined to venture forward on a new road and looks forward to the opportunities that lie ahead.

Martin did a lot of research regarding importing quality products and after extensive work in this area he is delighted to have found over 12 suppliers that are trustworthy and offer first class quality products, most of which can be seen in our new showroom / show area. Martin also holds a Diploma in civil engineering from BIET’ and a Diploma in Advanced Carpentry and Joinery.

Now in 2018, Martin is excited to announce the opening of a second state of the art, purpose built showroom in Laois to showcase the various products on offer by Leinster Quality Products. From forklifts and compressors, panel saws and sanders, CNC routers and electrical gates through to composite fencing, decking and wall panelling, solar lights such as street lights, garden lights, flood lights and wall lights, security doors with German manufactured hinges and Italian locking systems. Leinster Quality Products aim to offer our customers a fantastic product range at competitive prices and above all excellent service.
